In 2020, I set out from Ulaanbaatar on a six-day journey through the Gobi Desert. 

One afternoon, we visited a village where a ger served as a classroom for local children. 

An English alphabet rug on the floor left a lasting impression on me.

Later, finding the same pattern at a market brought back memories of the trip. 

By rearranging its elements, I brought a little of that peaceful afternoon into everyday life.
