A notebook filled with graph paper was an essential classroom companion, used to record weave structures and patterns.

Sometimes, when my mind drifted during class, I would absentmindedly draw little flowers in the squares.

They reminded me of the pixel flowers I used to see while playing Super Mario as a kid.

All it takes is 26 squares to create a tiny flower, and filling page after page with them was surprisingly satisfying.
